November has been somethin’ huh?
The vast majority of you reading this are Creative Women, and whether you live in the US or not, you’re likely feeling the despair of current events.
So what do we do when the world is on fire?
When it no longer makes sense?
First, we take our time to take care of ourselves - we feel numb, we cry, we rage cry, we eat all the leftover halloween candy (just me?), we rest.
And then what…?
Here’s my thoughts, broken down into my usual categories:
Step One: Create!
Today’s Creative Nuggs will explore: Why creativity is so important right now, and how to get our motivation back.
Step Two: Connect to Yourself!
The Untangling will unpack how I fortify my own inner knowing and rebuke my learned response to be “easygoing”— and how you can too.
Step Three: Get a little Woo!
Abundance Aggregate is about searching for possibility, and holding possibility, together.
Now listen, I’m not sure if you noticed, but my newsletters can get a little lengthy…
So today I’m just going to share about Step One and how to get that momentum working for us again!
Part 2 with The Untangling & Abundance Aggregate will come soon.

Okay, now that you’ve been made aware of alllll the things….
Creative Nuggs:
I’ve been hearing from many of you that you’ve lost your motivation.
When I’m working with people and this happens, often it’s because they’ve lost their why.
When creating for yourself is something that you do to fill your cup, it’s easy to convince yourself it’s not as important as… staying up to date with the news, burying yourself in work, or “figuring out how to make more money.”
But for many of you, myself included, creating not only fills your cup, but it makes you feel alive and allows you to feel connected to something greater than yourself.
And now more than ever, we need to be tapped into our life force.
Why?
What if Creativity is how we fight back?
Throughout history, Creativity has been a powerful force for change.
It’s through art, music, and storytelling that people have challenged the status quo and pushed back against systems of oppression.
Creativity is Rebellion.
It’s a potent way to challenge the status quo and give the middle finger to conformity.
Who’s with me?
Need more convincing?
Creativity defies Rules
It questions, reimagines, and redefines what’s possible. It inherently resists being boxed in.
Creativity challenges Power Structures
Oppressive systems often thrive on uniformity and control - when you create, you claim autonomy over your voice and vision.
Creativity encourages Authenticity
Rebellion starts with someone daring to be themselves.
By creating authentically — following your inspiration, creating what feels good —you assert your individuality in a world that often pressures us to conform.
Creativity asserts Freedom
Creating something—whether art, music, a story, or a solution—is an act of freedom.
It’s saying, “I can think, feel, and express on my own terms.” That’s a quiet, but profound rebellion against systems that seek to dictate or silence.
Creativity inspires Collective Action
When one person creates, it sparks inspiration in others. Creativity is contagious, and it can unite people around shared visions, movements, and ideas. This collaborative energy becomes a powerful force of resistance.
When you share your Creativity - your art, your words, your voice becomes an outstretched hand.
People can see their reflection in your expression. They know they’re not alone, to know they have allies.
It’s how you assemble Community.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” —Margaret Mead
Creativity isn’t just about filling your own cup—it’s about waking each other up.
We, as women, as creatives, as intuitively connected souls, have a role to play: to assemble, to build something quietly powerful, to rise into our collective strength.
Creativity becomes the spark that reignites connection.
Your courage to express yourself becomes a rally cry for those who need to see it, to know that:
We are still here.
We are not backing down.
We are building.
So start.
Write.
Paint.
Move.
Share.
Create to assemble.
Create to rebel.
Create to wake each other up.
If you need more help with your motivation, send me a message.
I have 3 free resources for you to take advantage of:
