Is it possible to choose positivity in life's most 'un-juicy' experiences and moments? Today we are joined by an amazing, inspiring woman, Heather Little.
Heather's life took a shocking turn when overnight it was discovered that she had Stage 4 colon cancer that had metastasized to her liver. Heather went from training for her next ironman to recalibrating her mindset for one of life's most challenging marathons.
From Day 1, Heather decided she was going to share her journey openly and vulnerably, and we are so glad she joined us for this incredibly inspiring and moving discussion.
In this episode we discuss:
How to offer help to people going through challenging times
Initiating conversations about the 'big scary hard things' in life, and why it's never too late
Why your mindset is your greatest strength
Building and leaning on your community
How there might be gifts in the seriously un-juicy aspects of life
Why asking for help is actually sharing yourself vulnerably
Setting boundaries and prioritizing yourself
Why saying I love you is so important (and underrated!)
If you're looking to get into your heart feels, you're in the right place!
