Loving Your People and The Fragility of Life - A Replay, with Heather Little | #34

We wanted to re-share this important episode with one of our most inspiring guests - Heather Little.

Heather passed in December of 2023, but she left a remarkable legacy of courage and love with anyone who crossed her path (that includes you).

We want to honour Heather by re-sharing this episode, because she will always be a role model for us both.

Let Heather's legacy be a reminder for us all to love our people so hard!

Is it possible to choose positivity in life's most 'un-juicy' experiences and moments? Heather's life took a shocking turn when overnight it was discovered that she had Stage 4 colon cancer that had metastasized to her liver. Heather went from training for her next ironman to recalibrating her mindset for one of life's most challenging marathons.

From Day 1, Heather decided she was going to share her journey openly and vulnerably, and we are so glad she joined us for this incredibly inspiring and moving discussion. In this episode we discuss:

  • How to offer help to people going through challenging times

  • Initiating conversations about the 'big scary hard things' in life, and why it's never too late

  • Why your mindset is your greatest strength

  • Building and leaning on your community

  • How there might be gifts in the seriously un-juicy aspects of life

  • Why asking for help is actually sharing yourself vulnerably

  • Setting boundaries and prioritizing yourself

  • Why saying I love you is so important (and underrated!)

Check out Heather's blog and the #HeatherStrong community and find all the information on how to donate to the causes she tirelessly and joyously supported.

We love you!!
